I've seen this post on a few other blogs and I think it's a neat idea. Every Thursday I will post a list of 13 things - random things we did that week, info about one of us, etc.
So this week's 13:
1. Logan's favorite color is green. However, recently, he says he loves pink and orange also.
2. Yesterday was my parents' 32nd wedding anniversary! Congrats!
3. Tomorrow we're going to the McWane Center with Cooper and Aunt Sara for a day of fun!
4. For the past couple weeks, I have taken the boys out to the baby pool for about an hour every day. It's been so hot, they can't make it much longer than that.
5. At nap time today, Evan took off his diaper and peed in his crib. (See new post below)
6. I need a date night with my hubby. I want to see THE PROPOSAL.
7. I made some fried okra with dinner tonight, and Evan had thirds. He loved it.
8. Logan is scared that people are going to come look at our house while he is asleep at night. I have assured him that only me, daddy, Evan and Paisley are in the house when it's night-night time.
9. Netflix is the best thing since sliced bread. Sign up today.
10. I have become addicted to HGTV since we put our house on the market.
11. Does Santa Claus like to swim?? Who knows? Logan was just wondering.
12. Evan cracks me up running down the hall. His little legs are getting FAST!
13. Evan has recently started saying 'bye-bye' and wave to all his toys when we leave a room. It's hysterical.

Chuck E Cheese
Monday, Hope was sweet enough to call and ask if we'd like to go to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate John Pearson's 2nd Bday. OF COURSE! Logan asks at least every other day to go to Chuck E Cheese (he sees the commercials on PBS).
We had a great time playing, eating pizza, and ELMO birthday cake. Chuck E Cheese himself made an appearance and Evan was scared to death - he would bury his head in my legs. Logan on the other hand, which surprised me, loved him and was giving him high-fives.
Happy Birthday John Pearson, thanks for inviting us to your party!

Father's Day 2009
We had such a great weekend! We went to the lake for a relaxing weekend in the sun and that's just what we got - sun...too much. I am still recooperating, but it was well worth it.
To my fabulous, hardworking, loving husband, I hope you had a great Father's Day! I couldn't have dreamed up a better daddy for my children, they simply adore you :)
And to my dad - thanks for being all the things a dad should be. Whenever we need you, you're always there.
Love you both so much! Enjoy the pics!

18 months
Evan had his 18 month check up yesterday. He weighs 30 lbs, 14 oz and is 33 in long. Dr. Petitt says he looks great and had no concerns.
He did get 1 vaccination yesterday that he was not happy about. It didn't help that Logan made up an 'Evan's gonna get a shot' song on the way to the dr's office. Then, once the nurse walked in with the needle, Logan crouches behind me and says "ooooo, Evan, this is gonna be ouchy!" (just below a full out scream)
Gotta love big brothers.
