Catch Up Post
We have had such a busy 2 weeks! We are finally in our new house (which we are renting while we look for a permanent one). We are so glad to be back in the Birmingham area - convenient, close to my parents and our close friends, etc.
Here are some pictures from the last 2 weeks. Chris' aunt and uncle from Denmark (Hanne and Lars Peter) came for a visit last weekend. We had so much fun and cannot wait to see them again soon.

On the Move....
Yep, that's right. We're moving......this weekend! So exciting, yet so many things left to do! Our children are with my parents having fun I'm so sure while I'm here packing (and finding "lost") toys. Wanted to post something to let you know we haven't fallen off the planet, just might be hard to get in touch with for awhile. New posts will come soon enough, and I'll have LOTS to talk about :)

Thursday Thirteen
- Evan's favorite book is FROSTY THE SNOWMAN. I have read this book 200 times in just the last 24 hours. You don't get the same Christmasy feeling when it is 95 degrees outside.
- Logan has been running around the house saying 'I just can't do it anymore!' Don't know where he picked that up at.
- We are moving on the 15th! Ready to be settled!
- Our home inspection is tomorrow. Say a little prayer that nothing crazy pops up.
- Home Depot has great moving boxes. They are 97 cents a piece and the perfect size.
- I got the boys on a couple waiting lists for MDO/preschool programs in Birmingham. I hope a spot opens up for them both. Logan learned alot while he was in NBD down here, and I think Evan would do great also.
- My last moving(yard) sale is Saturday. While packing, I have cleared out a lot of junk that we need to get rid of.
- Logan and Evan found a tiny spider in our basement yesterday. Logan was not too thrilled when I flushed it down the toilet. He said "Mom! He was just looking for his mommy!" How cute is that?
- What exactly do you do with stuff from your college years? I have sorority stuff and Chris has tons of baseball stuff that is in boxes. We don't want to get rid of any of it, but does stuff like that just stay in boxes?
- My mom's birthday is tomorrow!! Happy Happy Birthday Mom (Nana)!
- Logan has thrown out several gifts that we should get Nana for her bday: beach ball, bubbles for her bathtub, mushrooms from the grocery store (because "Nana loves those grocery store mushrooms") He is so funny!
- We have a yard full of mushrooms that are popping up everywhere! That's why Logan distinguishes them: "grocery store mushrooms that we can eat" vs. "yucky, dirty, yard mushrooms that mommy says we can't touch".
- Logan wants me to pack up Paisley in a box right now, so we won't forget her.

Playing while Packing
While I was packing up some stuff in the garage, Logan and Evan played outside in this HOT, muggy weather. Playing ball is their favorite, so they both gravitated toward the t-ball set. I had to go inside and get another bat so WWIII wouldn't start in my backyard.
