Halloween Parties

Today was Logan and Evan's Halloween parties at school. All the children dress up like farmers (instead of wearing Halloween costumes, I believe for religious reasons?).
So here is Farmer Logan and Farmer Evan!
(Thanks for the overalls Mimi, and white shirts Nana!)

I made little goody bags for their classes and came up with the cutest gift tags using some old, blank business cards I had.

Miss Tonya (Logan's teacher) invited the parents to come experience their Halloween party, so I got to take some cute pictures. Miss Tonya made cupcakes and the children got to 'ice' their own cupcake. Yum, yum - messy goodness!

Logan and Kade - the only 2 boys in the class.....more on that below.
Logan putting MORE sprinkles on his already top-heavy cupcake!
Logan has come home before talking about all the girls in his class. Not like 'love' talk but 'friend' talk because his class is mostly girls. He talks about Molly alot. She is the cutest red head! You can barely see her in the 5th picture of this post - you can only see her red pigtails at the opposite side of the room from Logan.
Miss Tonya said that Logan is the "social butterfly" of the class. And APPARENTLY all the moms agreed because these little girls come home and talk about Logan all the time! Molly's mom said that's all she hears about and Molly wants Logan to come to her house to play. There is another little girl in there (can't remember her name? Allie? Addie?) and her mom said that everytime she talks about Logan, she blushes. How sweet!!
Logan's a little stud, and he's completely unaware of it :)

Fishin' with Papa

Friday night, the boys went to spend the night with Nana and Papa so Chris and I could have date night. We went to eat at Surin 280 and then went to see Couples Retreat. It was so funny, I would definitely recommend it. Here's the trailer -

While we were out, the boys went fishing with Papa. Nana took great pictures. They look like true fisherman with their rain boots and lifejackets on.

Miss Anna is 13 now - officially a teenager! Isn't she gorgeous?!?! Her party was Sunday, and the boys enjoyed some playtime outdoors.

Boo at the Zoo 2009

Last night we went to Boo at the Zoo (and Dave's pizza for dinner!) with the Tuckers as we always do. It is alot more fun now that Logan and Luke are getting old enough to participate in some of the games. Everyone had a great time and got lots of candy!! Here's some pictures and a few videos too (pause the music player at the bottom of the blog if you want to hear the vidoes)...

Flip

Chris and I got this new camcorder that is small enough to fit in my purse called a FLIP camcorder. It is so neat. It just came in today. Great Christmas gift for practically anyone!!
I even tested it out:

Not Me! Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

This is the first time I've ever participated in MckMama's Not Me! Monday. However, I've read many entries and many are hysterical and almost an exact replica of my world. So, here goes...

I did not let the boys paint their pumpkins today. I did not let them use just their fingers because I have misplaced the art supplies box from our move. I am way too organized for that.

I did not throw a big blue tarp in the middle of our kitchen for this paint project because it was raining - more like flooding- outside. I have patient children that can wait until the sun comes out later in the week to paint their pumpkins.

Logan and Evan did not get more paint on themselves then they did the pumpkin. They are not messy whatsoever....very, very clean children I have.

They did not spend all day long in their pajamas on this dreary Monday. I would never allow it.

Evan did not whine most of the time because he didn't like paint on his fingers. And I most certainly did not wipe his hands constantly to try and keep him happy during this FUN project. I don't have time for that.

I was not at all proud of their beautiful pumpkins when they finished. I don't gush over them that way.

Logan most certainly did not paint his whole foot and leg while I was transporting Evan to the bathtub. I did not cringe when I came back downstairs to find him this way.

My children did not "decorate" the bathtub for me while I was grabbing clean towels out of the closet. I told them to TOUCH NOTHING and they always obey.

When I said TOUCH NOTHING, I did not mean me.

Even though they are mine, I do not think I have the most adorable 2 boys ever - even when they are a mess!

Pumpkin Patch

We finally made it to the pumpkin patch. Everyone was feeling good and the weather was good so we jumped at the chance!

Pottery

We had an appointment today at Little Lambs in Pell City to do some pottery with the kids' handprints/footprints. I wanted them each to do a Christmas ornament with their handprints on them for our Christmas tree. I'll post the ornaments when I get them back!
