Bubbles

My parents bought the boys some bubble makers this week. Today was the first day 'warm' enough to try them out.

We ended the day with family movie night watching Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

The Intimidater

Logan - the intimidater.
He got his first real black eye last night at Yogurt Mountain (which is so yummy!). He, Cooper, and Evan were crawling on a chair and apparently, the chair won.
Today was the first tball practice and Logan looked like a rough kid that can cause some trouble :)

He loved tball practice. Evan wanted to play too and ended up pitching a fit, so I took him to run a quick errand and to get a snack while Chris stayed with Logan. I so wish 2 yr olds could play tball, it sure would make this easier.

The Friday Five

  1. Sunday we are going to a birthday party that will have a petting zoo - what a fun idea!
  2. Sniffles and coughs are taking over our house. I'm ready for some warm weather.
  3. Logan's first Tball practice is tomorrow morning.
  4. Evan has started talking in complete sentences. It amazes me.
  5. We have a name for baby #3. However, you'll have to wait 1 week, 6 days to find out! Don't ask, we won't tell. The name is a unisex name that can be used for a boy or a girl.

Week 16

Baby M is as big as an avacado!
From thebump.com - Watch what you say... tiny bones forming in baby's ears mean the little one can now pick up your voice. Eyebrows, lashes and hair are starting to fill in, and taste buds are forming. And, if you're interested, an ultrasound might be able to determine gender.

Spring Weather

Sunday we went up to my parent's house. The weather was gorgeous! Chris helped my dad tear down the old pier so he can build a new one....meanwhile, the rest of us had some much needed outside play time!

Cooper taking a turn on Evan's tricycle.

The boys love sidewalk chalk. This is me trying to trace their little fingers.

Logan got a rocket for his birthday from one of his classmates. You can see the rocket with streamers in the air...they played with this all day!

2010 School Pictures

I thought their school pictures turned out really great! There were many more poses and a few of them together, but these are the 2 sheets I bought.

The Friday Five

  1. "Evan, why did you not tell me you had a dirty diaper?"....."Cuz, momma."
  2. Sunday while we were at Burger King, Evan fell off his chair and bit through his top lip. Mouth injuries bleed the worst, but heal the fastest.
  3. Logan: "Why has it been cold for 3 days now? I want to play outside!"
  4. Logan: "Mom, I've decided I just don't want to poop anymore...never. I don't like it."
  5. This is what is said every time we get in the car and get buckled into car seats: Evan "Momma, I stuck!!" Logan "Ev, you're supposed to be stuck!"

15 week Dr appt

I had my monthly dr appt this morning. The heartbeat sounded great. He was concerned that I am still losing weight. He knows it's because I have been so sick. As a early surprise though....he said I can come back in 3 weeks instead of 4 to find out the gender of baby #3. I'm so excited! March 11th is the next appt, 3 weeks and counting down!!

4 yr Checkup

This morning was Logan's 4 yr checkup. We hadn't been seated 5 minutes and Evan has a blow out in his diaper - something about public places? Anyway, I find the nearest restroom with a changing table. When we come out, the nurse is standing outside the door and asked if we were the Moller's. She then hands me a urine sample cup and asks says she needs a sample from Logan. He starts whimpering and I kind of giggle and shake my head...who knew you did this at 4 yrs old - I was completely unprepared.

Back in the bathroom we go.

Logan's tears are flowing by this time. He thinks it's going to hurt and absolutely refuses to pee in a cup. I try to calm him down and tell him that mommy has to pee in a cup when she goes to the doctor too. Doesn't help. So I say, "Let's just pee in the potty then." He agrees. He starts peeing and I am literally trying to catch a urine sample with a tiny plastic cup.

While this is going on, Evan is behind me screaming "I pee in cup!!" "Mommy, I pee in cup!" I try to explain to Evan that I don't have an extra cup for him and that I am not about to start potty training at the doctor's office when he has absolutely no interest in it at home. Then comes Evan's tears, simply because he can't pee in a cup like big brother. May I remind you, this is going on WHILE I am trying to 'catch a urine sample'.

We come out with just enough for the nurse to test. He got his finger pricked too but all tests came back fine.

His 4 yr measurements are:
Height - 42 1/4 in
Weight - 43 lbs
Both are 90% for his age.

Week 15

Baby M is as big as a naval orange!
From thebump.com - Continuing the march towards normal proportions, baby's legs now outmeasure the arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Your fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably still can't feel the movements.

Funny Talk

Me: Did you have a fun time at your Valentine's Day party?
Logan: Yep.
Me: Did you eat your pizza all up?
Logan: Yep, and mom, we had ice cream for dessert!
Me: Yum! What did you put on your ice cream?
Logan: Lots of sprinkles and a cherry. Mom, I think we need to go to Lawmart (Walmart) right now, because I really like cherries now and we need some at our house.

Me: Did everyone say they had a good time at your birthday party?
Logan: Those girls wouldn't stop talkin' about it, mom.

Logan playing his new Leapster. He tunes everything out when he plays, doesn't hear a word you say. He loves it.

Logan's 4th Birthday Party

Logan's 4th birthday party was at Pump it Up. It went great and everyone seemed to have a good time - especially the birthday boy. Below are some pictures of the day.

Snow Day

Apparently, I was wrong about the snow (on my Friday Five). When we woke up with nothing, I never expected the boys would have enough snow on the ground to play with. We probably got 3-4 inches yesterday afternoon. The boys loved it, especially eating it - as a matter of fact, Evan became an all out monster when I told him it was time to go inside.

The Friday Five

  1. Logan got a Leapster2 from Chris and I for his birthday. He's already addicted to it. He played for hours yesterday and has gotten really good at it.
  2. Evan has just started saying Logan's name where you can understand it. It's so cute to hear him say 'Hey Logan!'
  3. The boys had picture day at school yesterday. All the teachers made sure to tell me how well the boys did yesterday (compared to last time). Only minimal tears shed by Evan is what they said. Can't wait to see them.
  4. Jefferson Co. canceled schools today and there is no snow to be seen?
  5. I'm tired. Very tired.

Survival Mode

Survival Mode is a term I've used after both my babies are born. A new mother is sleep deprived (more sleep deprived than you ever thought you could be) and healing from childbirth, no matter what site the baby decided to pop out of. Survival mode is just making it through the day - surviving one day at a time. Showers - or any personal hygiene for that matter- , food, and even your caring husband take a spot at the end of your conscience.

I was in survival mode this week. No, we do not have a new baby yet. While ya'll were reading my new posts this week (which by the way, I write a week earlier and set them up to post on a certain day), I was at the hospital getting IV fluids for dehydration. I have been so sick this week - throwing up everything I ate and drank from Sunday afternoon until Tuesday night. Even throwing up my Zofran medication (at $12 per pill). It's been a rough one.

I was in survival mode Monday morning when my dad stopped by on the way to work and suggested he take off work and take the boys with him. Apparently I looked 'that bad' and my 2 high-strung boys were running laps around me. He and my mom has had the boys since Monday. Just got them back this afternoon. Did I mention Chris was in Atlanta this week for a conference? Perfect timing and another reason for me to go into survival mode.

After 2 bags of IV fluid and some Zofran, I was feeling okay to go home last night. I hate staying at the hospital. Especially when you don't get to leave with a new baby. I left with bruises on my arm from where the nurses tried to get several IVs in but couldn't because I was so dehydrated. It's much more worth it when you leave with a new baby.

My dr said my baby was snug as a bug and apparently unaware of the trauma my body was putting me through.

Today is better though, not great but better. I had to cancel a playdate we had with the Tucker's and Sarah politely reminded me that Logan's birthday party was Saturday after I told her I would call her next week to set up another one. Oh, that's right, my baby's party. That should tell you how shook up I am.

Say a prayer that I will get my energy back soon. I'm supposed to be in the 'Feelin' good 2nd trimester' - this baby is thinking different...

***Happy Birthday to my brother Jay!! Hope you had a great one :)

Week 14

Baby M is the size of a lemon!
From www.thebump.com - Your adorable little fetus is busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, and (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo (thin, downy hair) is growing all over the body for warmth.

View From My Shower

This is what I look at while taking a shower 99% of the time. Evan's afraid his mommy is going to disappear down the drain, so he keeps a close eye on me.
Not. A. Moment. To. Myself.
But that's okay.

The Friday Five

  1. Every Wednesday morning, Logan and Evan practically tear up our window blinds trying to see the garbage man take our trash away. Then they scream "Thank you Mr. Garbage Man!"
  2. When Evan was playing outside Monday, he got a huge splinter underneath his finger nail. Not for the squimish.
  3. I felt the baby move for the first time this week. No kicks yet, just 'flutters'.
  4. I told the boys they could not have cupcakes for breakfast yesterday morning. Then I got home from dropping them off at school, and ate 2! Don't judge me, I have a baby in my belly.

  5. Next week is picture week at school. Hope it's not a repeat of this:

Cupcakes

Today I took cupcakes to Logan's class to celebrate his 4th birthday (I can't take them next week because it's picture week at school, no messy snacks). Logan picked out the sports whistles to top the cupcakes - I'm sure his teacher is going to LOVE those noise makers :)

Leeds Park

This morning I met mom at a Antique/Flea Market in Moody because she found two identical twin beds for the boys. I got both beds for $118.00, isn't that great! They are white right now, I'm going to paint them navy I think. Once the baby gets here, Evan and Logan will share a room, so I wanted their beds to match.
After buying the beds and eating lunch at Chickfila, we went to Leeds Park. I had never been there before, it is such a neat park. It has the biggest playground I have ever seen, seriously the thing is 4 floors high! The picture below doesn't even do it justice.

Week 13

Baby M is the size of a peach!
From www.thebump.com - Your fetus is forming teeth and vocal cords... savor this, their non-functional phase. Baby is approaching normal proportions, with a head now only one third the size of the body. Intestines are in the process of moving from the umbilical cord to baby's tummy. (Much more convenient.)

Circus 2010

We went to the circus again Saturday, thanks to Nana and Papa! Everyone had a great time, even though I could not get Logan and Evan to get their picture made with a clown. They were kind of scared to get close to them. Dad and Wil were sitting on a mat close to this clown and he flopped backwards so I could take a picture before the boys had a chance to run!
Logan's favorite part of the circus was the elephants. Evan's favorite part was the tigers. However, they really enjoyed the popcorn for snack the most :)
