This is how you eat an Oreo Cookie!

Layne will only eat the cream out of an Oreo cookie, not the cookie itself.  She stacks up the cookie part and throws them away when she's done.  You can see her tower of cookies in the pictures.  Silly girl!

 

2nd Place in State!

 

The 5U Chelsea Black team pulled out some unbelievable wins this weekend and placed 2nd in the state tournament, losing to Northport Nationals in the end.  It was such an exciting weekend of baseball!  So proud of my #10!!!

Summer Camp

 

Evan went to VBS this week at Liberty Baptist. 

 

Logan went to Liberty also, but participated in their XLR8 camp.  It's a Sports Camp all the while doing Bible study also.  You have to have completed 1st grade in order to attend.  Logan picked flag football and baseball as his tracks for the week.  He had a GREAT time and I'm so glad he had the opportunity to go.

 

The Friday Five - Layne Edition

1. Layne and I sing a song while I clean her earrings.  "Clean, clean our earrings.  Clean, clean our earrings.  They are pink.  They are pink".  We have it down to an art - we sing it four times and it's done!
2. She gives me a heart attack every time she screams "CANNONBALL!"  while jumping off the bleachers at the ballpark.
3. While at the movies with friends yesterday:  (She was whispering something to Mary Ellis)  Mary Ellis - "Are you speaking Spanish?"  Layne - "I not Spanish!!"
4. She loves mustard.
5. She won't eat breakfast.  She will only drink chocolate milk.
