The Friday Five
- Logan is applying to be a peer pal for his school. Peer pals help younger classes with reading, crafts, math, etc. for allotted times each week. Only 2 children per 4th and 5th grade class get picked so I really hope he is chosen. He has to fill out an application, needs a teacher recommendation, and a community recommendation (someone not in his family). Here is his application questions - I love his sweet heart:
- Chris' 41st birthday is tomorrow!!
- When I said last week that we had lost our noodles regarding sports - this is what I mean....this is our Sunday schedule (every member of our family has a different color on the calender - Logan is green, Evan is red). This is no joke friends. What we have here is organized mass confusion.
- Willow steals Logan and Evan's shower poofs (for body wash) out of their shower everyday while they are at school and carries them all over the house. She thinks it's a game.

The Friday Five
- Fall is in full swing and along with that comes a new sports season. Logan and Evan are playing both flag football and baseball. Layne is doing gymnastics. Chris and I have lost our noodles.
- School is back and hitting us hard. Flash cards were on the agenda this week. Fourth grade is hard ya'll. Forget that, kindergarten is hard. I've got a sassy 5 year old that told me Mrs. Williams would give me a sad face for writing my 'r' the way I do, so I had to redo those sight words. I've also been giving Logan test taking tips in math (he had a multiplication test yesterday where he had to answer 50 questions in 3 minutes), which was accompanied by eye rolls.....until it actually worked for him! And then I was a genius. I'll take what I can get.
- Evan got his first recognition from his teacher this year:
- I started my 3rd semester of nursing school about 2 weeks ago. I have OB, Pediatric, and Med-Surgical clinicals this semester. I'm already in love with Peds and OB, so I am looking forward to the weeks to come.
- Chris and I celebrated 10 years of marriage last Wednesday!
