Big Baseball Weekend

The Playmaker State Championship games were held this weekend.  Logan played in Hayden, and Evan played at Liberty Park.  Both of their teams made it to the championship game but lost in the end.  But, WOW, runners-up in state!   What an accomplishment!

Logan hit 5 over-the-fence homeruns this weekend!  Evan hit well also and made some awesome defensive plays.

 I'm so proud of how their teams came together and pulled out all those wins.

6th Grade Awards Ceremony

Chris and I got a call earlier in the week that said Logan would be receiving a special award from one of his teachers during the 6th grade Awards Ceremony.  His social studies teacher, Ms. McMahan, gave him the Outstanding Performance in 6th Grade Social Studies Award.  He loved her class and learned a lot this year from her.  Logan also received an award for getting A Honor Roll all year.  

We loved celebrating him today!  So proud!

Mother's Day

My mother's day was spent creek wading, turtle and crayfish finding, and having a picnic with my favorite people on the planet. 

It was a great start to our summer season.
