New Additions!

In addition to our elf, Deacon, coming back to visit this season....Santa sent his brother and sister too! Lochlan and Penelope made their presence known with Deacon this morning, all of them hanging from the ceiling fan. And tonight, they've colored our milk green (I sure hope my 'elves' will drink green milk in the morning!)

Never know what they'll get in to next!

The Friday Five (Catch Up!)

1. Happy 4th Birthday to the funniest little guy I know! Evan, you are so loved!!!
2. I have so much to be thankful for this year!
3. Christmas decorations are up at the Moller house.
4. Deacon, our elf, arrived after Thanksgiving. A separate post to come on what he has been up to!
5. My aunt Susie gave us an entertainment center she is no longer using. So excited to add that piece to our living room!!
6. I have been listening to Christmas music on 96.5 since Halloween.
7. Logan and Evan got new Veggietale Bibles to take to Sunday school.
8. Layne pooped down the hallway upstairs (after Chris took her diaper off).
9. Firecat was sleeping downstairs in the garage because of the cold nights, but because he has been spraying and using the bathroom in there this week, just got kicked back out into the cold.
10. Logan has asked Santa for 2 of everything, so he will not have to share with Evan.
11. I went and saw Twilight's Breaking Dawn Part 1 by myself the other night after I taught dance.
12. I kept Logan out of school Tuesday because I was putting up our Christmas decorations and I didn't want him to miss out.
13. We watched the Iron Bowl with the Tucker's yesterday....good time with good friends!!
14. For the first time ever (I think), I did not go black Friday shopping this year.
15. My mom is making us new stockings this year, can't wait to see them!
16. Logan lost his 2nd tooth on Tuesday!

While I was teaching dance, Chris made potato soup. Layne LOVED it, so much in fact, Chris said she literally licked her bowl clean. Mean daddy. Don't worry, I asked, he did give her seconds. These pictures make me smile so big.

Veteran's Day

Since Logan was out of school today, I promised them we would go to the McWane Center...little did I know I couldn't get to it. They had downtown blocked off for the Veteran's Day Parade. So I parked, and we sat ourselves on the side of the road with quite a crowd! The parade was great but so long! We ended up leaving before it ended because the kids were hungry for snack (note: I brought snacks with us (as seen in the pictures)...Logan informed me that 100 calorie snack packs were not near big enough for him.)

**Evan kept waving down the cotton candy man "OVER HERE, COTTON CANDY MAN!!", and he'd come over and I REPEATEDLY told him 'sorry, I have no cash'. I should have said 'You'd save yourself lots of walking if you don't listen to my 3 year old.'

Fun memories made today :) I love these kids.
