The Friday Five

1. Logan had a friend ride home with us from school yesterday for a play date.  Will and Logan had a blast!
2. Layne loves band aids.
3. I painted our master bedroom this week, a dark gray color.  It looks so much better!
4. Evan help me make our 2013 Summer Bucket List this week.
5. Layne wants her ears pierced.  If I can find someone to do both ears at the same time, I might take her.

Evan visits kindergarten!

MDO took the 4K classes on a field trip to Chelsea Park Elementary School.  Evan said his favorite part was visiting the music room.

Evan lost his 1st tooth!

The tooth fairy came to visit Evan last night!  He slept as far away from his tooth fairy pillow as possible (he's a little scared of the tooth fairy)!  He woke up to a new pair of walkie talkies! 

The Friday Five

1. I had to call the Poison Control Center for the first time ever this week.  Layne thought a tube of Icy Hot was ice cream.  She found out real quick it was not.
2. I kept all my kids home all day yesterday because of the storms.  Logan is extremely frightened of any kind of tornado talk.
3. We had some of the woods by our house plowed down this week.  Now we just need to clean it up.
4. Chris is going to put the boys up a batting cage in our backyard.
5. Evan's favorite cereal is Frosted Flakes.

The Friday Five

1. I bought a tanning package this week.  First one since I found out I was pregnant with Logan.
2. I started running stadiums this week.  It is a sure way to make your legs fall off.
3. Our mailbox fell apart this week (Chris says I hit it, I beg to differ).  We hired a welder to come fix it.  Welders are not cheap.
4. Layne tore Evan's glasses into 2 pieces this week.  Got a new pair, his 3rd replacement on the 1 year warranty.
5. I register for fall classes tomorrow!

Kindergarten registration!

Forest Oaks Elementary School is not ready for this one!  I didn't get to take Logan when he started kindergarten because we were in the process of moving, so pre-registration was new to us.  While I filled out paperwork (and tried to keep Layne from stealing the library books), a teacher came and got Evan so she could 'test' him.  I hear them over in the corner and she is hysterically laughing.  There is no telling what he told her.  She said he did great on his 'tests' and was ready for K5!  She also said he was the funniest 5 year old she had met today.
