Catching Up

I know I said I was going to be better at blogging. I really tried this week, but somehow the daylight hours are slipping away each day. Time is passing fast and laundry is piling up. Here is an update from the Moller household.
  • I got my tubes tied last Wednesday. Anyone who tells you this surgery is painless, they are lying to your face. I would endure childbirth 5 times rather than going through this again. I am very aware of any move my tummy muscles make - kudos to you mommies who had a c-section.
  • Layne has decided she likes to start her days early. When I say early, I mean 3 AM.
  • Logan and Evan's new favorite movie is The Sandlot. It's a really cute movie about baseball, however there is some ugly language in it from time to time (ugly for a 2 and 4 yr old anyway). Chris and I are currently in discussion with Logan that 'Crap' is not an okay word to say.
  • Logan and Evan start pre-K and MDO tomorrow. They are excited and I am excited that I will have some one on one time with Layne. Hopefully said 'Crap' vocabulary will not surface for day 1 of preschool. Will keep you posted on that.
  • Yesterday we went to Jill and Erik's for a multiple birthday party celebration. Jill - 28 yrs, Louise - 80 yrs, Erik - 34 yrs, and Chris - 36 yrs. PICTURES below :)

Due Date

Today is Layne's official due date. Thank goodness she came last week, the heat is much more bearable not pregnant.

Here's a sneak peek at what we did today:

These little guys make my heart smile.

I'll post the rest after everyone gets their announcement this weekend.

Layne's 1st Week

My sweet baby Layne,

Tomorrow you will be one week old. I find myself thinking about 2 weeks ago when I couldn't wait to see you and time was moving so slow - now I find myself begging for time to slow down. I can't imagine life without you now, like you've been with us for months. Your brothers just can't get enough of you, whether it is holding you while watching cartoons or stealing a quick kiss. I am enjoying our night time feedings when you seem to be more alert and awake because only I get to see your beautiful eyes for minutes at a time and I know these moments will quickly pass also. I am already feeling sorry for the many boys that want to steal your heart, because you've already got your daddy wrapped around your finger, almost to the point he doesn't know what to do with you.

You've brought so much joy to our family already. We are truly blessed that God picked us to be your mommy and daddy.

I love you so much,
Mommy
