Layne's 1st Birthday Party!

The Friday Five

1. Layne is MUCH better today!! For the last 8 days all we have seen around here is vomit and diarrhea. My poor girl has not been herself! Two Dr visits, one ER visit, and lots of lost baby weight later - I believe she is on the mend!!
2. Layne's 1st birthday party is tomorrow! Just a little get together/cookout with family.
3. Logan lost his 1st tooth today! The tooth fairy has been alerted.
4. Only two weeks of summer left. Boo.
5. We have a stray cat that has been staying around our house. The boys have named it Fire-cat. No idea why, the cat is white?

The Friday Five

1. I said earlier that Layne had learned to climb the stairs. These are pictures of my big girl in action before the gate was put up.
   
   
2. We went to the splash pad again on Wednesday with the Hairston Family. The kids love this place and if it wasn't so hot, we would go there more. Not much for Layne to do there except bake in the shade. The ice cream man also makes frequent stops here, which is the boys favorite highlight of the day.
   
   
   

   
   

   
3. We have been going to our local library weekly for reading programs they host. This week was StarShine Facepainting. Logan got painted as a snake and Evan got painted as a shark.
   
   
   

   
   

   
   

   
   

   
   

   
   

   
   

   
4. Logan and Evan's backpacks and lunchboxes were delivered this week. They love them (so does momma). Evan sported his this week while Logan was still napping.
   
   
5. Evan has a new saying every week it seems. This week: "Oh yea!" The way he uses it: "Oh yea! Oh yea! I need a snack!" or "Oh yea! Oh yea! I gotta go potty!"
