Evan's 7th tooth is GONE!

Layne's 1st Gymnastics Class

Layne decided she wanted to try gymnastics out this year.  She smiled throughout the entire class, I hope she continues to love it!

Catching the Gingerbread Man!

Today, Layne's class searched all over the school for the gingerbread man and finally caught him in the lunch room.  They celebrated with a cookie cake!

The first week of Kindergarten went great!

 3:00 = Best part of my day!!!  I missed them sooooo much!

A few things they learned on the first day:

Layne said: "Did you know her wouldn't even let me talk during that nap time?"

Evan ate his lunch at snack time and ate his snack at lunch time.

Logan said he made the biggest catch of all time playing football at recess today.

Successful day!! (but I'm not sure I want them to go again tomorrow)

Kindergarten 101

Layne got to meet her K5 teacher this morning - Mrs. Williams.  Brooke and Layne got in the same class so it should go a lot smoother than I originally expected.

I think she is going to have a GREAT year!

Layne is FIVE!

Layne's big birthday weekend started off with her birthday party last night.  Mary Ellis Hester, Brooke Steel, Emilie Topazi, and Olivia Wheeler all attended.  It was full of girl shrieks, laughter, and diva-ish activities.

This morning, I couldn't help but take a sleeping picture of my sweet 5 year old. 

 We went to Mt. Fugi for lunch so she could have her favorite sushi.  She had a date with Chris and I that night because the boys had a sleepover.  She chose Johnny Rockets for dinner and we went to Toys R Us so she could spend her birthday money.  

I think she had the perfect birthday weekend!
