Logan came in 3rd in the 6 yr old home run derby.  Chris won the coaches' home run derby.

The Friday Five

1. Evan: "Mom, I need eighty plus one dollars."
2. I told Layne no last night as I was getting her ready for bath time.  She squatted over her white church sandals and begins to pee on them in protest.  All while screaming her pretty head off. 
3. Logan's baseball team won their first game last night.  So happy for him and his teammates.  He was floating on air this morning.
4. Logan: "Mom!  Super Mom is not a real superhero.  Pick another."
5. Layne's new phrases begin with"I want......"  I want DOWN.  I want BITE.  I want MORE.

The Friday Five

1. I am in Atlanta for a dance convention this weekend.
2. I have been terrible at taking pictures at Logan's game. My hands are full with Evan and Layne since Chris is coaching. I am going to do better this upcoming week.
3. Layne has become a jewelry fanatic and on most days insists on picking out her own clothes (which usually contains some sort of tutu or mix matched shoes). I never went through this with the boys. I still pick out their clothes and they don't mind a bit. Uncharted territory!
4. We have started letting Titan roam a little more freely now. He stays in our yard, or our neighbors yard, for the most part. He loves the outdoors!
5. I went to the Dr this week, and have another sinus infection (3rd or 4th this year!) My immune system is failing me!

Evan's newest saying: "Momma, You are starvin' me to deaf."

In the car, Evan wanted me to roll the window down. I told him no, it was a little too chilly.
Logan (whispering): "Tell her she's pretty. Girls like that."
Evan: "PPPPLLLLEEEEAAAASE pretty girl momma, roll that window down."

Missing Daddy

Chris was teaching baseball lessons tonight in Tuscaloosa, so I took the kids to Jason's Deli (one of their favorites) for dinner. I sent him these on his phone and said "MISSING U DADDY". Can you tell we go for the ice cream?

The Friday Five

1. Evan's favorite holiday is Halloween. If you know my child, it's because of the candy.
2. Logan makes Chris throw pretend pitches to him in the house. Logan swings, and then Chris critiques his swing.
3. I painted mine and Layne's toenails yesterday. Layne's are smudged because she won't sit still long enough to let them dry. My big toe has her fingerprint in it because I'm not quick enough to stop Miss Curiosity.
4. It's not even halfway through baseball season and I'm already sick of hot dogs.
5. I'm training to run a 1/2 marathon (13.1 miles). The one I have my sights on is in 11 months, but I am hoping to do one in the fall too.
