The Friday Five

1. My kids love Christmas songs year-round.  Wednesday night on the way home from dinner, we were singing Away In A Manger.   Finishing up "...the little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay."  Layne says, "I bet baby Jesus is itchy.  I always get itchy when I lay in hay."
2. This weekend is the boy's last regular season basketball games.  Baseball practices have already started, so I'm ready to wrap basketball up!
3. We eat dinner on most Wednesday nights at Wings - kids eat free!!
4. I finally took the monitor out of Layne's room this week.  I know she's four, but she's my last baby.....it took a few 3:00 AM serenades of Let It Go on her "sing-along" to make me literally LET IT GO.
5. Thursday was superhero day at preschool....I heard batgirl and spidergirl saved the day.

Fun Fact: Logan rarely eats off a kids menu anymore, he can usually eat a full adult meal.

Logan decided he wanted a bowling party for the big NINE year old celebration.  We've never thrown a bowling party before and I have to say it was one of my favorites!

Today, on his actual birthday, Logan woke up with Krispy Kreme donuts for breakfast.  There are 3 kids in his class with a February 11th birthday, so Logan's class had an ice cream sundae party to make the day extra special.
