October Fall Festivals

The Friday Five

1. Logan and I had walking pneumonia this week.  Logan missed 3 days of school.  We are both feeling better now.  Even though it was because Logan was sick this week and home from school, I always love the chance to spend quality one on one time with each of my kids.
2. Evan picks the pecans off of his pecan pie.  He does not like nuts mixed in with his food, but will eat nuts separately.
3. Layne feeds Titan at the dinner table.  I say, "Is Titan your best friend?"  She says, "Titan is my girlfriend!"
4. Evan does not like to wear long pants/jeans.  Winter is going to be a struggle for him.
5. Chris has started giving both the boys weekly hitting lessons at the park individually.  He said he can already see an improvement in their swing.

The Friday Five

1. Evan's new good-night saying to me: "I love you, girl."  He's such a sweet talker.
2. We have mice in our house.  I'm pretty sure they are confined to the basement.  Buying mice bait and traps is exactly what I wanted to do with my Friday.
3. On the bright side, my house is getting a good cleaning from top to bottom today. 
4. I met Chris 9 years ago this weekend.
5. For Halloween Logan is going to be Iron Man Patriot, Evan is going to be Wolverine, and Layne is going to be Ariel (the Little Mermaid).

Maddy's 6th Birthday Party

Of course, Chris grabs Campbell before I get to her.  I think he misses our babies being so little!

 

 The kids got to tie dye tshirts.  Ours turned out GREAT!!
