The Friday Five

1. Logan has a big math test today that he has been studying for all week.  Not to be an overly braggy momma, but I do believe my child may be brilliant.  I'm constantly in awe of him.
2. One of my favorite phrases I've heard from Evan this week....."I know because Papa googled it.  He's a good googler." 
3. Layne got a Frozen jewelry box from Jay, Sara, Cooper, and Tessa for Christmas.  It plays the tune of Let It Go.  She calls it her "sing-a-long" and falls asleep to it every night.
4. The kids favorite game to play in the car is WHO/WHAT AM I?  You give two clues as to who or what you are.  For Evan's turn he gave these clues: 1.) I'm really old, I might even be dead?  2.) My head is on a penny.  I say,  "President Lincoln!"  Evan says, "WRONG!!  Abraham Lincoln"  I laugh and Layne says "Good try, mom"
5. I passed my vital sign validations this week!  I can officially check blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.

Alabama Gymnastics Meet

The Griffin's let us use their gymnastic tickets last night.  Evan had a birthday party to attend, so we invited Brooke to go with us (Brooke loves gymnastics).
Alabama beat #1 ranked Florida.

We had such a great time.  No matter the sport, the University of Alabama puts on a great show!

JP Dice

JP Dice, Fox 6's meteorologist, lives in Chelsea - in our neighborhood to be exact.  He took time today to come to Evan's class and talk about weather.  Evan was so excited and as an added bonus he made the news!!

The Friday Five

1. Evan was talking to Cheri on the phone the other day and telling her about our kittens.  He said "We couldn't get the boy kitten because someone had already adopted it and ya know.....well, boy kitties have all those gases."   He's trying to explain that male cats spray......but nonetheless, came out HYSTERICAL in typical Evan fashion.
2. I got my clinical assignment this week.  I will be at working in a long term care facility every Tuesday (day shift) for the rest of this semester.
3. Layne's favorite article of clothing, no matter the weather, is a tank top.
4. Report cards came in and both my boys did excellent!  Evan's grades are still a pass/fail grade, but Logan is starting to get actual grades and he's rockin' 3rd grade.  My most favorite part is teacher comments, those comments probably make me more proud than any grade could.
   
5. Basketball season has started for the boys.  Tomorrow is game #3.  They are really enjoying it, I'll post pictures soon.

The Friday Five

1. I have my first week of nursing school under my belt, and I'm happy to say I survived it.  This is my list of homework this weekend though, so I'm trying not to stress:
   
2. I over heard Evan doing his math homework this week.  He struggles a little with word problems, the "words" mess him up.  Basically the question was a more complicated way of asking 12-7=?......he said to himself "Man, I wish I had 12 fingers."
3. School delays mess up the Moller's already complicated daily schedules.
4. The kittens are warming up to Titan finally.  Willow fell asleep on him last night.
5. With a new year I can't help but think of all the great things 2015 will bring - on top of that list is a 10 year anniversary for Chris and I!

New Year, New Tutu!

Today was my first day of nursing school, so Nana took Layne to dance (which I very much appreciate).  She got a new princess tutu and couldn't wait to wear it!

Moller Kittens

 We adopted 2 kittens from the Pell City animal shelter the week of Christmas.  The black/white kitten is Jingle, and the all black kitten is Willow.  They have made themselves at home and the adjustment has not been hard (except maybe a little for Titan).
