- Logan: "Everyone in the whole school knows who Evan is now, and they just call me Evan's brother?!?!"
- My first week at school has proved to be challenging. Anatomy is trying to kick my butt but I won't let it.
- Evan won't take naps at school, but he can tell me EVERY kid that does actually fall asleep at nap time. I hope nap time doesn't get him in trouble.
- Fall baseball practice started last night. Logan is on Chelsea Blue team and Evan is on Chelsea Gray team.
- Chris was trying to pump me up Wednesday morning before I left for lab. As I'm giving the kids kisses he says "Guess what kids???? Mom may get to see a dead person today?!?!" And just like that my kids are scarred for life. Good try, honey :)

1st Day of College...AGAIN!!!
It's been a long time since I've been in a classroom. Lots of things have changed, but today went great!
It's going to be hard work, but I'm going to knock their socks off :)
1st Day of 3K!
Chris said this morning, "Wow, what a difference a year makes!"
So true.
Miss Priss was pulling me out the door this morning. She couldn't wait to get to school! Partly because her bestie, Brooke, got her ears pierced this weekend for her birthday and Layne couldn't wait to see what kind she picked out. In true girl fashion.
We walked in, she showed me where her backpack goes, sat down next to Brooke, and started coloring her butterfly picture.
I love that she was so happy.
But I sure miss her.

The Friday Five
- The silence this week in my house is deafening with the boys gone.
- Layne and I both start school next week!
- Evan's favorite part about school this week is going to art class in the "wagon" (aka trailer) and outside playtime.
- Logan's favorite part about school this week is lunch :) He is starving all the time!!!
- Layne's best friend, Brooke, has stayed with us most of this week while her mommy had to work. The girl's had a blast and it kept Layne from being so lonely this week. They especially love riding in the car next to each other - it's the little things!! Let me tell you, those girls do not stop talking!

Layne's 3 yr checkup
I needed this girl to cheer me up today. She missed her brothers just as much as I did.
We went to her checkup and met Chris for a sushi lunch (Layne's favorite).
Her 3 yr stats:
Weight: 34 lbs (75%)
Height: 39 inches (90%)
First Day of School
With some nerves and excitement, my two boys were eager to go to school this morning. Traffic was awful, so I parked at the front of our neighborhood and walked the boys across the street.
Once inside, I walked Logan to his room first because I knew Evan would have a harder time saying good-bye (and I knew I could make it out of Logan's room without crying.) Logan was excited and one of his best buddies, Cohen, is in his class - so they were excited to see each other.
In the 2nd grade hall, after leaving Logan, Evan looks up at me and says "Are you just going to leave him there?!?!" (to which I had a mini-breakdown in the 2nd grade hall). I explained to Evan that mommies can't stay today and I'd be back this afternoon to pick both of them up. Not sure what he thought, but while walking to his class he was so quiet.
When we got to Evan's class, he went and sat in his chair and I helped him unpack his backpack. The little boy next to him asked him what his name was and he said "Evan" in just a whisper. He started coloring his picture of a bus and wouldn't even look at me. I know he was so nervous. I told him he was going to have a GREAT day and that I would be right back, and covered his head in kisses.
I made it to the crosswalk before I started sobbing, and the policeman just smiled.
After school, both boys said both of their days were "AWESOME" and Evan can't wait to go back tomorrow. Tomorrow they are both buying their lunch for the first time this year.
I pray this year brings them lots and lots of new friends and fun memories.
They grow so fast.

Moller Week O'Fun - Day 5
Today was a play at home day followed by a trip to get ice cream and pick out books at the book store. While at home I heard Titan barking like crazy outside and opened the door to him and Bo (our neighbor's dog) chasing 2 baby deer in our yard. They could not have been 2 weeks old, their little legs were still shaking like Bambi. The dogs chased their mommy away and the babies hid in 2 different areas of our yard.
I put the dogs up and called the vet. They said the mommy would come back for them when she felt it was safe. After dinner, the babies walked back into the woods together by themselves. I'm hoping they found their mommy.
In the last picture you can see just how tiny they were....no bigger than the boy's Tonka truck.

Moller Week O'Fun - Day 4
We went swimming at the Howard's house on Thursday and I didn't take any pictures.
Leisha posted our summer swimming pictures though and thought I'd share. She always takes my most favorite summer shots of the kids!

Moller Week O'Fun - Days 2 and 3
Day 2 we went to see Smurfs 2 with the Hairstons and Honeas.
Day 3 - We drove to Sylacauga and took a tour of the Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory. I don't know why we haven't been here before? It is 1 of 3 Blue Bell Factories that actually make the ice cream in the whole nation! We got a cup of ice cream at the end of the tour and then the kids wanted to try another flavor, so they each got an extra :)

Panama City Beach Trip 2013
This year Chris had a conference in Destin the 1st weekend in August, so we tacked our beach vacation on to it and stayed for 10 days! It was so much fun, but by day 8 my little home-bodies were ready to sleep in their own beds. It was a vacation packed full of fun as we celebrated 2 birthdays at the beach (Layne - August 2 and Nana - August 7).
Logan did the zipline!
I think all the kids became better swimmers while at the beach. Papa, Logan and Evan literally swam with a hammerhead shark. We bought lottery tickets, but only won $4. We also were finally able to check EAT A FUNNEL CAKE off our bucket list.
