Rest of Layne's Spring Pictures

Leisha finished editing Layne's pictures!  They all turned out great, I'm so happy with them.

Our Sunday session got rained out so we are going to try again this weekend.

Spring Pictures

I always have the kids pictures taken at Christmas time because of Christmas cards.  I mentioned that I would love to have some spring pictures made of the kids and my sweet, ever-so-talented friend Leisha (Layne calls her "sissy") offered to do it!  

We drove to Clanton today while the boys were in school looking for the perfect field and we found some great ones!

I am so in love with these pictures, and Leisha is still editing more!

It's the boys turn Sunday, so stay tuned!

The Friday Five

1. I finished the spring semester with a A in Biology and a B in Physiology!  No more school until fall!!!
2. Evan calls  KONA ICE "KONAN ICE".
3. I started running again this week.....my goal is to lose 30 lbs by the end of July.
4. We usually have NO BATH FRIDAY (except when Friday is spent at the ballpark, like tonight will be.)
5. Logan would rather read nonfiction books than fiction books.  

Practice Makes Perfect

Layne said she needed to practice a song and dance for their spring program.  She then begins to break out into song and dance and I went and grabbed my phone to video.  She's having a little problem with the "Huh!" part and it sometimes frustrates her.

She's such a perfectionist.

"Pharaoh, Pharaoh, Oh baby, Let my people go! Huh! Yea yea yea yea"

A little bribery

Layne has not wanted to go to school this week.  In fact, she says she's not going back.  In order to make my life easier, I bribed her today and said we would go get a special snack after school if she 1.) stayed there in school, and 2.) didn't cry.

SUCCESS!  Worth every penny of her $1.50 snow cone.

Easter Sunday 2014

Easter Sunday was filled with early church, food, and family.

We are exhausted after this fun filled day!

Easter Egg Festivities

We ran out of time last year and never dyed eggs, so we used the dye I bought last year and colored some eggs after the boys' games today.
